Winter Greetings! Lohar Projects welcomes the new year with a little nostalgia, some exciting new projects for 2020 and a freshly tuned website to share with you!
2019 Highlights
2020 Is Bright
I am excited to continue working with Times Square Arts and collaborating with artist Aida Sehovic and team for ŠTO TE NEMA 2020 through the summer! It is with equal enthusiasm LP welcomes some exceptional new clients and collaborators in 2020 including Grounds for Sculpture, School of Visual Arts, and Koda, amongst others.
In the Field
This winter, I'll be spending some time at Wassaic Project as a 2020 Critic in Residence. In the spring, I'll be a mentor for Joan Mitchell Foundation's one-on-one artist Consultation Series and serve as a guest studio visitor for the NARS Foundation's artist residency program. Finally, I am excited to chair Art + Feminism’s inaugural Advisory Committee for 2020 as a founding board member and teach my annual spring session at School of Visual Arts, Artist as Educator, in the MFA program.
In Conversation
I'll be speaking on a panel tomorrow for POWArts in New York (January 15th) with Jean Cooney (Director, Times Square Arts) and Natasha Logan (Deputy Director, Creative Time) to talk about our paths to public art! Join us!
Interested in working together, exchanging ideas, or perhaps something else? I’d love to hear from you in 2020! I look forward to all the possibilities.
Wishing you an energizing spring rush!
